“What do your stylist elements mean?”
At AVBS, stylists are categorized by elements. Every stylist begins their career here as an Element 1 and moves up based on reputation, experience, and demand. With each promotion in element, there is also an increase in the price of services.
“Why do you work with costylists?”
One of our goals is to foster ongoing education for our next generation of AVBS stylists. Having an extra set of hands also allows our stylists to further pamper their guests and open up more time on their schedules. Every costylist is licensed and fully capable of working with your main stylist to elevate your AVBS experience.
“How often should I get my hair cut?”
Most guests will need to schedule every 4-8 weeks. Hair grows at an average of 1/2” per month, but shorter hair may need attention sooner than long hair in order to keep its shape. Stylists will make a rebooking recommendation based on your specific hair needs.
“Do you offer extensions?”
Yes! AVBS has stylists who offer HotHeads and Bellami hair extensions applied in several methods. We offer tape-ins, i-tips, k-tips, sewn in wefts and hand tied. Call and schedule an extension consultation for more specific questions.
"Do you have a cancellation policy?"
We ask for notice of noon the day before the scheduled appointment to be notified of an appointment cancellation, reschedule, or service change. All "no call no shows" and "late cancellations" will result in a cancellation fee of the following:
$15 for Haircuts
$40 for Color Services
$60 for Extensions and Smoothing Services
